So this week I’m going to be taking a break from making TH pages to planning TH pages.  I need to get layouts done for the next scene as well as get some commissioned work completed and sent out.  Tragi-romance alien comic will continue on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. :B

In May, I'll be at the 3 Rivers Comicon which has recently changed locations from the Century III Mall to the old Macy's on the Waterfront.  Please update your traveling plans accordingly.

Also, we've now started Chapter 22!  Chapter 21 was the longest chapter I've ever worked on for Trying Human.  Originally Longus' backstory wasn't a part of Chapter 21 but I really wanted to tell it and I didn't know when I'd be able to revisit Fatima's past without it seeming awkward.  Now there are only 10 more chapters of TH and it's going faster than ever.  It's making me feel sad and happy at the same time. ;u;

This is definitely one of those pages where it'll be getting a lot of touch-ups when the book comes out.  Sometimes good enough is good enough (but I don't want it to be!).

Speaking of touch-ups, if you haven't checked out the Trying Human Patreon, I'd highly recommend it.  Thanks to the help of all the patrons, we're working towards 2 updates a week as well as a ton of other cool stuff.  I post all my progress for the new books there.  It's neat. :B

So I've decided that right now is not the time to switch my update schedule around (as you've probably noticed).  I'm going to still be updating here on Tuesdays and on Patreon with the next page on Thursdays.  Things are just too hectic both in my real life and in the comic for me to suddenly switch it up.  The Patreon is over halfway to earning two pages a week for everyone.  I'm hoping that'll happen. ;u;

In other news, I reordered the Trying Human circuit pins and they are up for preorder in the store.  They'll begin shipping October 1st, 2018.  You can find them by following the Store link at the top right of this page or by clicking this link:

As a quick reminder, I'll be at Pittsburgh MUFON Conference on October 20.  There are more details on that below this post.  They're going to have a panel on spontaneous human combustion, which I'm hoping will be... lit.

I'm changing my update schedule just a tad!  From now on, Patreon folks will get the updates on Tuesdays and will get the updates on Thursdays.  I wanted to close the gap a little between when the pages are previewed and then go live.

Now enjoy some angries Magnus. >:O RAWR

This is the first page of a two page spread.  The second page (835) will be up on Thursday.  See you then! :D

I'm sorry that I haven't made a real post since I've moved from California to Pennsylvania.  Things have been really hectic while we're getting settled in.

Most of my UFO books and Trying Human stock (posters, books, prints, etc.) are in my in-laws' garage 2.5 hours up north.  We're squirreled away in a little apartment while we start looking for a house.  And a house isn't a home without 293473298374 UFO books. :B

I also fixed some issues in the archive but let me know if there's anything else buggy going on.

I'm also looking to find some comic book stores and scifi, comic, or anime cons in the Pittsburgh area.  Hit me up if you know of art hangouts or something. :D

So it’s finally happening! We’re moving back to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from Southern California. I’m really excited since it’s been nearly 10 years since I’ve lived in Pennsylvania. It’s where I grew up so it’ll be a familiar homecoming.

What does this mean for Trying Human? Not much except that there won’t be any updates between April 24 and May 15. The Trying Human Storenvy store [] will also be in vacation mode during that time. That means you can still make orders but they won’t be filled until the week of May 8th. There will be a banner displayed at the top of the store with the vacation mode begins. We also have to get a new post office box so please don’t send anything to the old California address.

After we get settled back in (and I get another car), I plan to make myself a fixture in the Steel City Con [] artist alley (formally known as the Pittsburgh Comicon). I did their artist alley and sketch charity event once before on one of my many excursions back and really enjoyed myself. I also like that they run it multiple times a year so anyone on the east coast has lots of chances to bump into me there! :D

Thanks for sticking with me and the comic during this time.
