Who's that familiar Grey?  Oh Roger, I'm so sorry.

I got a few emails about the RSS feed not working so I've had my tech person fix it.  Hopefully it's working better for everyone now.  I don't personally use RSS to follow anything so yins will have to tell me if it's working or not.  I've also recieved some messages about pages skipping and I'm going to that by my tech person as well.  I'm not sure what could be causing that.  Most folks say that if you use the 'Next' button as opposed to clicking on the pages themselves, you won't run into it as much or at all.

In other news, I've started a new video series on my YouTube channel called, '100 Days of Making Comics' and just what it says on the tin, I'll be making comics everyday, for 100 days, for a least 30 minutes a day, and recording my process along the way.  Since the current TH pages are pretty much a full time thing for me, I'm using the experience to focus on getting the second volume ready for print. Now we're going to take a peek into Roger's past, but only for a few pages.  Six more pages and then Chapter 19! :D

The green in these pages is really hard on my eyes and I have to take a lot of breaks. #n# My retinas will detach by the end of this scene. Speaking of which, there's only about 5 more pages left until we get to Chapter 19! ARE YOU EXCITED?!

Also, check out these sweet books I ordered off of Amazon.com: http://tinyurl.com/UFOBooksYvesNaud I've never seen them before, which surprises me since I'm pretty familiar with most of the books (and authors) out there. I can't wait to get them!

Shading all that green hurt my eyes after awhile.  I had to take a lot of breaks working on this page and probably will have to on upcoming pages.  Anyway, enjoy! <3

It's always a little bit weird to draw folks from the flashback (minus EBE1) in color.  I'm so used to coloring them in monochrome.

Also, did you guys go out to see the perseids meteor shower last night? I sat out for awhile but didn't see anything. I think the moon was just too bright due to the supermoon a few nights ago. :(

Yesterday, all the test samples arrived from the printer and they're really nice looking.  They're not the actual bound books but just loose sheets and pages in the correct order.  I think it'll still be another week or so before I have a copy in my hands.

This is from my last news update but I wanted to keep it in the aether a little longer:

I've changed streaming applications again.  I'm a fickle little thing, aren't I?  Picarto.TV is my new streaming site for Trying Human pages! If I get 50 followers on there, folks will be able to subscribe and support the channel further.  Here is the link for my new streaming channel: https://www.picarto.tv/live/channel.php?watch=IntroducingEmy

I'm also happy to announce that the first volume of Trying Human (chapters 1 through 4) has gone into print production and will be shipping in mid-October.  It took a lot longer than I thought but the quality is tops.  I can't wait to see them!

We've had so many ants over the past two weeks!  I guess this is really typical of Southern California in late summer but jeeez.  Oddly enough, they've been congregating in our master bathroom on the second floor where there's nothing to eat but poison traps we've put out for them.  Mwahaha...

In other news, I've decided I'm going to be switching to Justin.TV for streaming Trying Human pages.  I like the different overlays and availability to use different streaming programs.  Overall, just more freedom and simplicity.  They're also the sister site to Twitch.TV and I've done a lot of art for the folks over there so it only seems natural to make the switch.  My new stream link is: http://www.justin.tv/introducingemy

Things might look a little different around here.  The folks over at Hiveworks have set me up with a shiny new site.  I'm still getting used to it but shouldn't take me too long... Until then, some things may be a little wonky while I figure out how to change them.
